We are located in Historic Chilhowee Park. Follow signs to Muse Knoxville:

From East: Take I-40W to exit 392A (Rutledge Pk) – follow signs to Zoo. After entering Chilhowee park, bear L through the lower Zoo parking lot, and take the road to R of the lake.
From West: Take I-40E to exit 390 (Cherry St). Turn R on Cherry St., and go to the 2nd traffic light (Magnolia Ave). Turn L on Magnolia, and go to the 2nd traffic light (Beaman St). Turn L on Beaman, then at the crest of the hill, turn R into the gates of Chilhowee Park. Muse Knoxville is on the left at the bottom of the parking area.
Knoxville charter bus rentals are available through GOGO Charters. National Charter Bus also provides bus rentals to Knoxville from anywhere in the nation.

Our most popular times for field trips and groups are Tuesday – Friday mornings. If avoiding crowds, please call ahead to check the current museum capacity.
Is food allowed inside the museum?
Yes, food is allowed in the lobby area or in our outdoor spaces. We also sell snacks in our gift shop. However, we ask that all guests refrain from eating on the museum floor.
How do I use my coupon?
If you have a physical, Muse-issued coupon, please bring it to our front desk when you visit.
Admission
- All Admissions are paid onsite
- General Admission (Ages 1-64 years of age): $12
Reduced Cost Admission: $6
- Senior Citizens 65+
- Tennessee Educators (with valid ID)
- Military member, spouse, and dependents of military personnel (with valid ID)
- Members & Children under the age of 1: FREE
- Free unlimited Planetarium shows are included with General Admission

Where should I park?
We have free parking available near the museum in Chilhowee Park. Please note that we also have designated stroller parking areas as well.
