Muse Knoxville is excited to introduce homeschool for our K-5th students and families! Each session will meet on Thursdays over the course of 3-4 weeks and will have different themes! You can register for one month or join us for them all!!

Important Details

  • 3-week session cost: Non-Members/$45 and Members/$36
  • 4-week session cost: Non-Members/$55 and Members/$44
  • Classes are held on Thursdays
  • Ages 5-7 meet from 1 PM-2 PM
  • Ages 8-11 meet from 2:15 PM-3:15 PM

FALL

  • The Fall program begins September 10th and continues through December 17th!
  • September: Grossology – Dive into the gross side of science! Students will dissect owl pellets, make slime, and conduct messy experiments while exploring animal biology, chemistry, and the fascinating science behind the world’s grossest phenomena.
  • October  – Powerful Forces: Electricity, Magnetism & Nuclear Energy: Students will explore electricity, magnetism, and nuclear energy. Discover how energy is generated, transferred, and used to power the world around us.
  • November – Wonders of the World’s Fairs: Travel through history and discover the inventions, innovations, and scientific breakthroughs that amazed visitors at World’s Fairs around the globe.
  • December – States of Wonder: Explore the science of solids, liquids, and gases.  Students will discover how matter changes, moves, and makes up the world around us. 

SPRING

  • The Spring program begins January 7th and continues through May 20th
  • January – Superhero Science: Discover the real science behind superhero powers! Students will explore forces, energy, flight, and other scientific concepts that make superheroes seem super.
  • February – Inside Out: Human Body Science: Students will explore body systems, health, nutrition, and how the different parts of the body work together to keep us healthy and active.
  • March – Women of Wonder: STEM Trailblazers: Celebrate the women whose discoveries and innovations shaped our world! Students will explore inspiring STEM pioneers through hands-on activities and challenges that highlight the power of creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving.
  • April – The Big Idea Lab: Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy: Turn creativity into opportunity! Students will explore entrepreneurship and financial literacy, where they create, design, budget, and market their own ideas while building real-world problem-solving skills.
  • May – Tennessee Innovation: The Science of Our State: Explore the discoveries, inventions, and scientific achievements that make Tennessee special! Students will investigate the science and innovation behind our state.

 

  • Cancellation Policy:
    – Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the registered week of class will receive a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee.
    – A 50% refund will be provided for cancellations made within 30 to 8 days of the registered week of class.
    – No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the week of class.
