Central Michigan University’s Alternative Breaks Program
“Central Michigan University’s Alternative Breaks program brings students leaders from various passions and fields of study together and sends them across the country to participate in volunteer opportunities with varying community partners. These breaks are student lead from the development process to the actual week of service. Alternative Breaks is dedicated to ethical service, meaning it involves an 8-week process where students spend time learning about the community they are entering and how to ethically volunteer.”
