*Field trips are available Tuesday, Thursday and Friday either 10:00am – 11:30am or 1:00pm – 2:30pm.
Each Summer Field Trip includes a planetarium show!

Common FAQs
Timing Options
2-hour trip: Your trip will include play on the museum floor and a planetarium show. A whole group restroom break will be available at the end of the planetarium show.
Students may be split into groups as needed.
Things to Know
- Muse Memberships do not cover field trip programs.
- Other discounts and coupons do not apply to field trip programming.
- Groups must have 15 or more students.
Pricing
- Summer group staff are admitted for free for the Summer Field Trip
- Summer group children are $7 each
- Summer Field Trip fees cover scheduled time only
- Groups must have 15 or more students.
Cancellation Policy
- If you must cancel or change your Summer Field Trip plans, please let us know no less than a week in advance, cancellations after 7 days in advance are subject to an administrative fee
- An unforeseen cancellation on the group’s part does not guarantee a rescheduled Summer Field Trip
- “No-show” Summer Field Trips will be subjected to a $100 administrative fee
- Late arrivals will result in a reduction in Summer Field Trip programming time
Group Transportation Option
- Group transportation to the museum is available through CharterUP. You can book a bus rental in Knoxville tailored to the specific needs of any school trip.
