This week at Muse Knoxville, STEAMventures campers explored inventions and innovations from around the globe, while Muse Pop went Under Construction with building-themed fun! We also honored Juneteenth with a meaningful celebration and programming.

We’re celebrating freedom, heritage, and unity all day long—with special events both at the museum and out in the community!

We’re proud to participate in the MLK March & Juneteenth Celebration Parade, starting at Chilhowee Park at 10AM! 🎉🫧

Then, join us this afternoon for a powerful Juneteenth program featuring Dr. Natalie Graham, Professor of Africana Studies at the University of Tennessee, from 2:30–3:30PM. We’ll also have a themed craft activity for children in preschool through 5th grade—perfect for learning through creativity. ✂️🖍️

Let’s come together to honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a brighter future—together.

🏗️🚧 Under Construction Week is stacking up 🏗️🚧 Under Construction Week is stacking up hands-on fun at Muse Knoxville from June 17–21, 10 AM–4 PM! Dig into design, building, and creativity all week long! 🛠️✨

Here’s what’s happening:
⚡ Tuesday: STEAM Sprouts (2 PM) — Energy kits + ramp racing
🎨 Tuesday: Mess Makers (2:30 PM) — Tire track painting craft
📚 Wednesday: Read & Play (2 PM) — “Goodnight Construction Site” read by teacher Darius Elis + a themed craft
🕹️ Wednesday: Tech Time (2:30 PM) — Build bridges and test them with Hexbugs
🧋Thursday: @jubileedrinkco is on-site from 11 AM–3 PM

🔨 Plus: Ongoing tabletop activities like Kinetic Sand, Block Builds, Dream Home Blueprints, and Construction Math!

All activities are included with admission—let’s build something awesome together!
