Sensory Night
Inclusive play time for children with special needs, autism, or sensory processing differences and their families/caregivers! Muse is for ALL!Muse Knoxville is thrilled to announce the launch of our new Sensory Nights, dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive space for children with special needs, autism, or sensory processing differences, along with their families or caregivers. These events will take place on the first Thursday of every other month, starting in January 2024.
Our Sensory Nights offer a unique opportunity for children and their families to engage with hands-on exhibits, explore our Make Space, and enjoy quality family time in an environment specifically tailored to accommodate their sensory needs. By eliminating the usual crowds, minimizing noise, and reducing bright lights, we aim to create a safe and accessible space for everyone to enjoy.
Our dedicated staff meticulously prepares the museum ahead of time, ensuring that lights are dimmed, loud sounds are limited, and additional signage is in place to enhance the overall experience. This thoughtful approach creates an environment that is both safe and less stimulating, allowing families to fully participate in the museum’s offerings.
Mark your calendars for Sensory Nights:
